Chantal Kreviazuk Joins Back to Earth Skin to Raise Awareness About Natural Beauty and Sustainable Products

Chantal Kreviazuk, a Canadian singer-songwriter known for her soulful music and philanthropic work, was recently named the official ambassador of the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada (JGI).  JGI research team supports bio-diversity loss, climate change, environmental inequality and the well-being of animals in Africa. Her recent transformative journey to Uganda alongside the renowned primatologist was humbling and inspiring.

During her visit, Kreviazuk had the privilege of immersing herself in the vibrant communities and schools where JGI programs are making a profound impact. She was impressed by the innovative efforts of the local people who plant seedlings for reforestation in compostable banana tree fibrous containers. This approach offers valuable lessons to our Western society about reducing our reliance on plastic containers. Kreviazuk also had the privilege of observing wild and semi-wild chimpanzees at the Tchimpounga Nature Reserve in the Republic of Congo. She was inspired and honoured to be part of a remarkable group of curious and courageous individuals who shared this mission to save the planet.
