“Every surface tells the story of transformation: science meeting art, precision meeting texture, and care meeting design.” – Jaclyn Genovese
The Face Lab Toronto: Where Science Meets Style
In the heart of Toronto’s Dundas West, The Face Lab has become a trusted destination for women seeking advanced skin and aesthetic treatments rooted in science and inclusivity. Known for its expertise with melanin-rich skin and personalized, results-driven care, The Face Lab is redefining what it means to age beautifully, blending medical precision with a deeply human approach.
But what sets this clinic apart goes beyond its treatment menu. Step inside their new flagship space, and you’ll find yourself immersed in an environment that feels as restorative as the treatments themselves. The Face Lab partnered with designers Jaclyn Genovese and Pooja Pothen to craft an atmosphere that speaks directly to their philosophy: warmth, inclusivity, and refined luxury.
A Clinic That Reflects Every Skin Tone
The design began with a simple but powerful directive from founder Joanna Auguste: create a space that reflects every complexion. For a clinic built on science and inclusivity, the interiors needed to embody both with equal measure.
Designer Pooja Pothen translated this vision into a material-driven narrative. Marble floors, with their organic veining, echo the individuality of every skin tone. Walls finished in microcement and raw plaster bring a tactile honesty, while a tonal palette of travertine creams, clay browns, and espresso hues mirrors the natural shades of real skin.
The result is a 2,000-square-foot environment that feels clinical yet soulful, sophisticated in form, but warm in spirit. Every surface tells a story of transformation: science meeting art, precision meeting texture, and care meeting design. From the welcoming reception to the private treatment rooms, the space embraces everyone who walks through its doors.
Where Design and Beauty Align
Genovese’s hand ensured the interiors balanced refinement with ease, creating a clinic that feels more like a sanctuary than a medical facility. Minimalist details and layered textures create a calm, elevated setting that perfectly complements The Face Lab’s philosophy: beauty and wellness are inseparable, and confidence begins the moment you step inside.
By marrying cutting-edge treatments with an environment intentionally crafted to celebrate diversity, The Face Lab is rewriting the narrative of aesthetic clinics. It’s not just about results; it’s about experience, an elegant blend of science, design, and soul.
