Eugene Souleiman and The Wig Academy are teaming up to bring you a cinematic masterpiece—an 11-part All-Round Masterclass that pushes the boundaries of visuals and creativity. Eugene’s mission: To leave a lasting legacy for the next generation of hairstylists.
The first two parts of the Masterclass, which will take the public on a journey through Eugene’s career, will be completely free for the public to watch. After that, the rest will be available through subscription.

In Eugene’s Masterclass, “The Land of Dreams,” participants embark on a captivating journey through his career landscape, celebrating achievements with a fresh perspective and embracing his current mindset.

ABOUT EUGENE SOULEIMAN
Eugene Souleiman doesn’t just create hairstyles; he creates the worlds in which they live. Though his work is visual, it exists through feeling. It’s something to look at and a vehicle for transport to another place. His emotional approach to the craft results from a lifetime of curiosity, discovery, and thirst for knowledge.
Raised in South London, Souleiman found the city’s punk scene as a means to alter his reality. Finding camaraderie in a collective of strong young minds willing to creatively question the status quo, he explored the what-ifs and why-nots of life without boundaries. Fearless self-expression existed in every way imaginable. Innovation was driven by necessity.
Do it yourself if it doesn’t already exist was the ethos. It continues to be one of Souleiman’s driving forces. Souleiman creates with raw emotion and technical ability on an artisanal level. He uses diverse materials, both natural and supernatural. With an open mind and a studied understanding of how something looks, feels, and functions, Souleiman designs the unknown.
His unique perspective has led him to work with a diverse group of the most forward-thinking and innovative fashion designers of our lifetime. The collaborative experience of creating hairstyles for the likes of John Galliano at the helm of Maison Margiela, Prada, Alexander McQueen, Yohji Yamamoto, Junya Watanabe, Rick Owens, Thom Browne, Jill Sander, Olivier Theyskens, Stella McCartney, and countless others speaks volumes to Souleiman’s ability to adapt to many worlds.
His vision of the Altered Ego results from the knowledge and experience he has gained through his decades-long career and his ever-inquisitive mind.
