Anrealage SS 2024 Collection “INVISIBLE”

Anrealage’s spring/summer 2024 collection showcased a futuristic fashion vision, employing special fabrics utilizing photochromy to change colors dynamically. Japanese designer Kunihiko Morinaga curated a creative approach that unfolded during the Paris Fashion Week at the Yoyo (Palais de Tokyo). The show commenced with a unique touch—a reinterpretation of Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Air on the G String.” A model emerged in the subdued light, donned a white bodysuit and trousers, topped with a transparent plastic bodysuit and skirt resembling oversized bubble wrap, adorned with yellow, orange, and blue ribbons.

The silhouette illuminated when exposed to ultraviolet light, revealing miniature AZ logos on the Fairtrade-labeled cotton bodysuit and a color transformation in the PVC reminiscent of chameleons’ chromatophore cells. This captivating visual spectacle was achieved by applying Anvisual, a patented photochromic technology developed by the Japanese brand in collaboration with Toyota Tsusho Inc.
